About Soula
Soula is a highly sought after voice over artist, actor and presenter who has been working in the industry nationally and internationally for over two decades. She adores creating voices for her clients, from naturally warm to bright and friendly, from super high energy to calmly conversational, and a multitude of characters she can provide her clients with what they require within seconds.
Since graduating from The Flinders University Drama Centre of South Australia, in the early 90’s, Soula has worked extensively as a theatre and television actor. She has performed roles for the Melbourne Theatre Company, The State Theatre Company of South Australia, The Red Shed Company of SA, Theatre South in NSW, Vitalstatistix in SA and La Mama Theatre in Melbourne. She has had leading television guest roles on Stingers, A Country Practice, Blue Heelers, Neighbours, GP, MDA, Marshall Law, Twenty Something, the American mini series Blonde, and recently joined the cast of Hunters for the U.S. SYFY channel. Soula is also a regular advertorial presenter for channel nine’s “Mornings” and seven’s “The Morning Show”.
Soula has voiced thousands of commercials for many and varied TV and radio campaigns. She has been the regular voice of major retailers and lifestyle organisations Australia wide.
If you travel country Victoria by train, it’s Soula’s voice that tells you where you’re going! She’s voiced numerous presentations for corporate organisations, narrated educational / eLearning packages, films, documentaries, and websites, she voices awards events, PC games, Telemessages and IVR’s for some of Australia’s leading organisations.
She just loves doing character voices too, accents are her forte, Southern European, West Coast North American, and British accents, she can even do kid voices.
She receives high praise from those in the industry for her easy going and professional manner. Clients love the fact that she takes their direction quickly and easily and can provide them with a final read within minutes!
